🔜 આજે હું તમને ભારતીય સેનાના એક જવાન અને કાશ્મીરી યુવતીની કહાની જણાવી રહ્યો છું.

🔜 આ વાત 6 વર્ષીય કાશ્મીરી યુવતી રૂકસાના અને ભારતીય સેનાના શહીદ કેપ્ટન વિજયંત થાપરની છે.

🔜 આ ઘટના 1999 ની છે કે જ્યારે કેપ્ટન વિજયંત થાપર 22 વર્ષના હતા અને  રાજપૂતાના રાઇફલ્સની બીજી બટાલિયનમાં તેનું પોસ્ટિંગ હતું. તેના એકમની નજીક 6 વર્ષીય રૂકસાના રહેતી હતી, જેના પિતાની આતંકીઓ દ્વારા હત્યા કરવામાં આવી હતી.  એક દિવસ કેપ્ટન થાપર ફરજ પર હતા અને શિબિરની બહાર જમવા ગયા હતા ત્યારે રૂકસાના ત્યાં આવીને બેઠી અને તે પછી કેપ્ટન થાપરે તેને ખવડાવ્યુ અને પૂછ્યું કે તે શા માટે શાળામાં નથી જતી? તો તપાસ કરતાં જાણવા મળ્યું કે રૂકસાનાના પરિવાર પાસે પૈસા નથી અને આતંકવાદીઓ દ્વારા તેના પિતાની હત્યા કરવામાં આવી છે. ત્યારે કેપ્ટન થાપરે કહ્યું કે, રૂખસાનાના અધ્યયનનો તમામ ખર્ચ તે સહન કરશે.

🔜 આ પછી કારગિલ યુદ્ધ શરૂ થયું. કેપ્ટન થાપરે તેના પિતા, નિવૃત્ત કર્નલ વી.એન. થાપરને એક પત્ર લખીને કહ્યું હતું કે, જો તેને યુદ્ધમાં કંઇપણ થાય છે, તો તે જાતે રૂકસાનાના અભ્યાસ અને જાળવણીનો ખર્ચ કરે. કારગિલ યુદ્ધમાં, કેપ્ટન થાપરના એકમને ટોલોલિંગ પહાડીનો હવાલો સંભાળવાની જવાબદારી સોંપવામાં આવી હતી. ઝુંબેશ દરમિયાન, પ્રથમ લક્ષ્ય "કચરો બંકર" કેપ્ટન થાપર અને તેની ટીમે પકડ્યો, જ્યારે તેનું એકમ આગળ વધ્યું, ત્યારે દુશ્મનની ગોળી કેપ્ટન થાપરના માથામાં લાગી અને તેઓ શહીદ થઈ ગયા.

🔜 કેપ્ટન થાપરને શહીદ થયા 19 વર્ષ થયા છે, છેલ્લા 19 વર્ષથી કેપ્ટન થાપરના નિવૃત પિતા કર્નલ વી.એન. થાપર રૂકસાનાના શિક્ષણ અને જાળવણીની સંભાળ લઈ રહ્યા છે. થોડા દિવસો પહેલા રૂકસાના તેના કાકા સાથે નોઈડામાં નિવૃત્ત કર્નલ થાપરના ઘરે આવ્યા હતા. દર વર્ષે નિવૃત્ત કર્નલ થાપર કાશ્મીર જાય છે અને રૂકસાનાના શિક્ષણ અને જાળવણી પાછળનો તમામ ખર્ચ ચૂકવે છે. રૂકસાનાએે ગયા વર્ષે 12 મું ધોરણ પૂર્ણ કર્યું અને હવે તે કોલેજમાં આગળ અભ્યાસ કરવા માંગે છે અને આર્ટસ ભણવા માંગે છે.

🔜 જે લોકો એમ કહે છે કે ભારતીય સેના કાશ્મીરમાં સામાન્ય માણસો પર અત્યાચાર કરે છે તેના મોઢા પર આ જોરદાર તમાચો છે.

🔜 કેપ્ટન દ્વારા ૧૯૯૯ ના યુદ્ધ પહેલા તેના કુટુંબને લખાયેલો પત્ર પણ મે અહીંયા જોડેલો છે.

🔜 ભારતીય સૈન્યના આ મહાન સંસ્કારો છે, "જાણો પણ વચન નહીં".

🔜 आज मैं आपको एक युवा भारतीय सैनिक और एक कश्मीरी लड़की की कहानी बता रहा हूं।

🔜 यह बात है, ६ साल की कश्मीरी लड़की रुकसाना और भारतीय सेना के शहीद कैप्टन विजयंत थापरकी।

🔜 यह घटना है 1999 कि जब कैप्टन विजयंत थापर 22 वर्ष के थे और राजपूताना राइफल्स की दूसरी बटालियन में तैनात थे। उनकी यूनिट के नजदीक ६ वर्षीय रुकसाना रहती थी जिनके पिता की आतंकियों ने हत्या कर दी थी। एक दिन कैम्प से बाहर कैप्टन थापर ड्यूटी के दैरान खाना खा रहे थे तो रुकसाना वहां आके बैठ गयी, उसके बाद कैप्टन थापर ने उसे खाना खिलाया और पूछा कि वह स्कूल क्यों नहीं जाती हो? वहां आस-पास जांच करने पर पता चला कि रुकसाना के परिवार के पास पैसे नहीं हैं और उस के पिता को आतंकियों ने मार दिया है। कैप्टन थापर ने कहा कि रुकसाना की पढ़ाई का सारा खर्च वह खुद उठाएंगे।

🔜 इसके बाद कारगिल युद्ध शुरू हो गया। कैप्टन थापरने अपने रिटायर्ड पिता कर्नल वी. एन. थापर को चिट्ठी लिखी और कहा कि अगर युद्ध में उसे कुछ हो जाता है तो आप (उसके पापा) स्वयं रुकसाना की पढ़ाई व उसकी देखरेख का खर्च उठाएंगे। कारगिल युद्ध में कैप्टन थापर की यूनिट को तोलोलिंग हिल पर कब्ज़ा करने की ज़िम्मेदारी दी गयी। अभियान के दैरान पहले लक्ष्य "बर्बाद बंकर" पर कैप्टन थापर व उनकी टीम ने कब्ज़ा कर लिया, जब उनकी यूनिट आगे बढ़ने लगी तो दुश्मन की एक गोली कैप्टन थापर के सिर में लगी और कैप्टन थापर शहीद हो गए।

🔜 कैप्टन थापर को शहीद हुए 19 वर्ष हो चुके हैं, और १९ साल से लगातार कैप्टन थापर के रिटायर्ड पिता कर्नल वी. एन. थापर रुकसाना की पढ़ाई व देखरेख का खर्च उठा रहे हैं। अभी कुछ दिन पहले रुकसाना और उसके चाचा नोएडा में रिटायर्ड कर्नल थापर के घर भी गये थे। हर वर्ष रिटायर्ड कर्नल थापर कश्मीर जाते हैं और रुकसाना की पढ़ाई व देखरेख पर आने वाले सभी खर्च की पेमेंट करते हैं। रुकसानाने पिछले वर्ष 12वीं कक्षा की पढ़ाई पूरी की है और अब वह कॉलेजमें जाकर आर्ट्स की पढ़ाई करना चाहती है।

🔜 यह उन लोगों के लिए एक तमाचा है, जिन्हें लगता है कि भारतीय सेना कश्मीर में आम लोगों पर अत्याचार कर रही है।

🔜 १९९९ के युद्ध से पहले कप्तान द्वारा उनके परिवार के लिए लिखा एक पत्र भी यहां संलग्न है।

🔜 ये हैं भारतीय सेना के महान संस्कार. "जान जाए लेकिन वचन न जाए"।

🔜 Today I am telling you the story of a young man from the Indian Army and a Kashmiri girl.

🔜 The talk is about Ruksana, a 6-year-old Kashmiri girl and martyred Captain Vijayant Thapar of the Indian Army.

🔜 This incident is about  1999 when Captain Vijayant Thapar was 22 years old and posted in the 2nd battalion of Rajputana Rifles. Near his unit lived 6-year-old Ruksana, whose father was murdered by the terrorists. One day Captain Thapar was eating out of the camp while on duty, Ruksana came and sat there, after that Capt Thapar fed her too and asked her why doesn't she go to school? Investigating there, it was found that Ruksana's family did not have money and her father was killed by the terrorists. Captain Thapar said that he would bear all the expenses of Ruksana's studies.

🔜 After this the Kargil war started. Captain Thapar wrote a letter to his retired father, Colonel V. N. Thapar, and said that if anything happens to him in the war, then he (his father) himself will spend the expenses of Ruksana's studies and maintenance. In the Kargil War, Captain Thapar's unit was given the responsibility to capture the Tololing Hill. During the campaign, Captain Thapar and his team captured the first target "ruined bunker", when his unit moved forward, an enemy bullet hit Captain Thapar's head and Captain Thapar was killed.

🔜 Though Captain Thapar has been martyred for the 19 years, his retired father colonel V. N. Thaper has been taking care of the education and maintenance of Ruksana. Just a few days ago Ruksana and her uncle had also gone to the house of retired Colonel Thapar in Noida. Every year retired Colonel Thapar goes to Kashmir and pays all the expenses incurred on the education and maintenance of Ruksana. Rukasana completed 12th standard last year and now wants to go to college and study arts.

🔜 This is a slap on the face to those who says that the Indian Army atrocities on the ordinary people in Kashmir.
